Start with a free consultWe do that too. A membership is not a requirement to be our client — plenty of people come to us once a year, hand over their documents, and get a return prepared by an Enrolled Agent. No monthly fee, no commitment.
The student rate covers what a return looks like while you are still in school — a part-time job, a W-2, the education forms. Once school is behind you the return stops being simple, so the price from there depends on what is actually on it. We will quote yours at the free consult, before you commit to anything.
Worth doing the arithmetic: a one-off return at $450 costs about what the Basic membership costs across a year, and the membership includes planning calls whenever you need them. That is our argument for it — not a condition of working with us.
No long contracts and no surprises. These are the rules that decide what your membership covers.

Bookkeeping requires an accounting software subscription in your business's name; full-service payroll requires a payroll subscription and is $10 per employee on top of the monthly fee. Add-on prices are starting points — we will quote yours at the consult.
No. Memberships are month to month and you can stop at any time. The setup fee is one time, at signup; the monthly fee is billed on the 5th of each month.
If you join before December 5th, the current year’s return is included. Join after December 5th and your membership covers the following year’s return — we can still prepare the earlier year for you as a standalone return.
The return is not included, because membership covers preparation while you are a member. We would be glad to prepare it as a standalone return instead, quoted before we start.
Yes, as long as we prepared the original return and you are a monthly client at the time of the amendment.
You move up a level and we prorate it. Buying a rental or electing S-corp status usually means a step up; we will tell you before we change anything.
Yes. A standalone return is $150 for a student under 24, and starts at $450 for everyone 24 and over, depending on what the return involves — no membership, no monthly fee. If a membership would genuinely save you money we will say so; if it would not, we will say that too.
Those services run on software licensed in your business’s name — accounting software for the books, a payroll subscription for payroll. You hold the subscription; we do the work inside it.
A 30-minute consultation is free, and you'll leave it knowing what you'd pay and what we'd change.
