Probably not, and there is no reason you should be. We have found that most people know how to run their business successfully by doing what they do best, and that usually is not the books. We are here to help — categorizing your transactions properly so that at tax time you are not scrambling to build numbers from scratch.
We get you set up with software so that every time you spend money, the transaction is pulled in automatically. From there it is a matter of saying which category it belongs to — buy some Facebook ads and it lands in advertising.
Compare that with the usual approach: receipts in a drawer all year, then a frantic weekend in March finding them, sorting them, adding them up and writing totals onto an organizer. What if you simply did not have to do any of that? At tax time you answer a few questions and we pull the expenses straight from the software.
Monthly reconciliation helps ensure your books are complete, accurate and able to support the amounts reported on your tax return. Most small businesses skip it. We do not — we reconcile the accounts, match the expenses to the return, and keep the supporting records in the shape you would want them if anyone ever asks to see them.
Standalone bookkeeping starts at $300 a month. For business owners who also need tax preparation, planning and payroll, bookkeeping is included in our $500/month Titanium membership. Either way it requires an accounting software subscription in your business's name — you hold the subscription, we do the work inside it.
Tell us what your return looks like and we will tell you which membership covers it — no obligation.
Book a free consult (623) 257-3048Not necessarily. We work in QuickBooks Online day to day; if you are already on something that works, tell us what it is at the consult and we will give you a straight answer about whether moving is worth it.
It is common and it is fixable. We will quote the catch-up work separately from the monthly fee so you can see what you are paying for.
During the year — that is the point. Clean books are what make a mid-year planning conversation useful instead of theoretical.
A 30-minute consultation is free, and you'll leave it knowing what you'd pay and what we'd change.
